Dr. Chuck Savini
Dr. Chuck Savini is the founding member of the practice. After graduating from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990, he spent time practicing in Ohio and New Jersey, gaining experience working with horses representing a wide variety of disciplines. In 1997, he founded Walnut Grove Veterinary Service, and has seen it grow into a three-veterinarian practice offering ambulatory and haul-in medical and surgical services. He maintains a strong interest in reproduction and performance horse lameness. On his off time he enjoys spending time with his wife Patti and their three children, Lorenza, John and Marisa and working on and around their farm in Troy, Ohio. |

Dr. Rhiannon Kauffeld
Dr. Rhiannon Kauffeld started at WGVS in June 2006 after graduating from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Growing up on the south shore of Massachusetts, she began riding and competing in dressage at a young age. She is hoping to get the opportunity to show her Trakehner mare this summer at some of the local dressage shows and combined training events. Her professional interests include lameness and sports medicine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Bryan, son Tyler and daughter Ashlyn. They stay busy with many sporting events and outdoor activities. |

Dr. Zachary King
Dr. Zac King joined the practice in June 2006 after graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He grew up in Springboro, Ohio spending much of his free time with his grandparents racing standardbreds. Currently, he breeds and races standardbreds with his brother and uncle. He has a stong interest in reproduction. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife Connie and their three children, Ryan, Adam and Sara. |
